Prosecutors’ confirmed Sihoo was innocent in all allegation of the lawsuit

It has been confirmed from Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office Detective Part  at 22 August that Sihoo was innocent. On March Sihoo has been accused on charges of sexual assault with Miss A.  In the same time Sihoo also charged Miss A and Senior B and Mr. Hwang attempted to extortion, defarmation and other propaganda.  Hwang counterclaimed alleged Sihoo. After two side between Miss A and Sihoo drop all their cases in lawsuit with unconditionally, Hwang was willing to continue his litigation by asking to Korea Entertainment Association under the Special Organization Ethics Commission Sanction adjustment to resolve the dispute and there was bet arbitration which is currently in progress but for Sihoo and Hwang case’s concluded by the investigation of the prosecutor was completely shut down.

This urgent announcement is from the Park Sihoo’s agency, Hoo Factory this afternoon through the Sihoorang Management Committee.

It is about advising the fans that all the legal proceeding on Park Sihoo is now officially closed.

I am sure you recall the first case being closed on the 10^th of May 2013, when the alleged victim decided to drop all the case against Park Sihoo.

Aside from that case, there was the one involving the president from his previous agency.

The Sihoorang Management has received information from that agency this afternoon that Park Sihoo have been proven NOT GUILTY on the case against the owner from the previous agency.  I reiterate the announcement from his agency: all the legal proceedings against Park Sihoo are now officially closed.

On behalf of Park Sihoo and his agency, we would like to thank all the overseas fans for standing by him throughout the ordeal and I sympathize with you all for the intense pain it must have caused to all the fans, it has been an arduous five months not only for Park Sihoo but also for his fans as well and I must say that his fans have shown such high integrity and tenuous, just like our beloved actor. 

It all goes to show that Park Sihoo’s fandom is strong and alive despite the fence attack on the actor by the media and public and it is a testament to all that in the end justice and the truth prevail.

There will be looking back from now on.

The past will be buried from here on and Park Sihoo and his fans will only focus on the bright future that is upon us.

It is perhaps more important than ever to for his fans to unite in order for the actor to get back on track with his acting and I am sure all of our overseas fans will show the trademark strength and will in supporting him in the years to come.

Park Si Hoo′s Former Agency Rep Requests a Settlement for Defamation

A Mr. Hwang, the head of Park Si Hoo′s former agency, requested the Corea Entertainment Management Association (CEMA) to help him and Park Si Hoo reach a settlement on an issue of defamation.

A source close to Park Si Hoo told enews on July 12, "We heard that Mr. Hwang proposed a settlement through CEMA recently. We believe we are blameless. We will follow whatever proceedings CEMA demands of us."

Hwang asked CEMA to find a solution to his dispute with Park Si Hoo. He asserted that he was defamed after Park Si Hoo sued him for allegedly conspiring with the accuser in the actor′s former rape case.

Park Si Hoo dropped his case against the agency head after his accuser dropped her charges, but Hwang has continued to accuse Park Si Hoo of defaming his name.

The source continued, "[Park Si Hoo] had dropped the case against Mr. Hwang to wrap up all the troubles he had come against. We believe there′s nothing else for us to do but to follow the instructions of CEMA since he requested a settlement, saying he was wronged. We′ll continue to keep an eye on what happens."

Unresolved Park Shi Hoo Scandal Case Moves To Mediation

One of the last unsettled cases associated with the recent Park Shi Hoo sexual assault scandal is headed toward mediation.

For the past five months the actor Park Shi Hoo has been trying to clear his name of charges leveled against him in February and to settle the lawsuits that resulted from the original charges. His promising career was put on hold while all these developments played out. And it has not yet recovered.

It all started in February when the "Cheomdamdung Alice" star was accused of sexual assault by a trainee actress named only as A. The couple had a few drinks with friends and she returned to his home at 2 a.m. He admitted they had relations but insisted they were consensual. She said that their relations were not consensual. She told police that she passed out and he assaulted her. She reported the actor to the Seoul Police Department. After investigating the case, the police sent it to the prosecutor's office.

In response, the actor filed charges against the actress and the CEO of his former management company. The actor claimed that the CEO, who spoke with trainee A, conspired with her to damage the actor's reputation. The CEO counter-sued.

Trainee A eventually dropped the charges against Park Shi Hoo without giving any public explanation, and the police withdrew their sexual assault indictment. As a result, the actor dropped his defamation charges against the actress. But when he tried to settle the lawsuit with his former management agency CEO that case was not so easily resolved. The CEO insisted on a personal apology.

The two men seemed unable to resolve their dueling defamation cases on their own so the CEO, Mr. Hwang, asked Corea Entertainment Management Association (CEMA) to help settle the defamation suit.

"We heard that Mr. Hwang proposed a settlement through CEMA," said a representative for Park Shi Hoo. "We believe that we are innocent and will follow whatever proceedings CEMA demands of us."

The actor is ready to move on and put this scandal behind him.

"There's nothing more we can do but follow CEMA's instructions, since he requested a settlement, saying he was wronged," said Park Shi Hoo's representative.

The actor is known for his roles in the dramas "Iljimae" and "The Princess' Man" and the 2012 film "Confession of Murder." The film was released in Japan after the scandal broke but the actor has made no public appearances.

Park Shi Hoo’s Former Agent Demands An Apology

It seemed last week that the ongoing Park Shi Hoo real-life drama had finally come to an amicable if somewhat confusing conclusion. Without any explanation or warning, the trainee actress known as "A" dropped all charges of sexual assault against him and his friend, known as "K."

Park in turn dropped his countersuit against "A" for making false accusations. It was hoped that all related lawsuits would be resolved, but one important suit remains to be settled.

In the middle of the firestorm of accusations, Park's legal team also filed a lawsuit against Mr. Hwang, the CEO of his former agency, Eyagi Entertainment. The suit contended that Hwang, known in the case as "C," made false accusations and had defamed Park's character. Hwang countered by suing Park for the same reasons.

Park's lawyers recently contacted Hwang in an effort to reach a compromise.

However, Hwang refuses to drop his lawsuit against Park unless he gets a personal apology from the actor.

"It is true that we had a phone call with Park Shi Hoo's lawyers," said a representative for the agency. "But we have no intention of ending our lawsuit yet. Park Shi Hoo made it seem as if "C" was controlling "A" so we need an apology first.

The case began in February when "A" and Park Shi Hoo spent the night together, having sexual relations Park saw as consensual and "A" called rape because she said she was too drunk to consent.

Hwang got involved in the drama when he and a distraught "A" met and a friend alleged that he encouraged the idea of "A" filing charges.

A friend identified as "B" said that "C" comforted "A" and suggested "teaching Park a lesson." He then told her to report the actor to the police.

According to "B," Hwang had been looking for a way to get back at Park for leaving his agency.

Hwang denies ever having encouraged "A" to do anything. He says he met her for only five minutes, because "B" was his friend, and comforted the young actress who seemed very upset.

"I didn't say anything B is accusing me of saying," said Hwang. "I have nothing to hide. What she says is two thousand percent false."

Hwang says he has no idea why Park Shi Hoo decided to file a lawsuit against him, as he is innocent.

"I think a mistake was made when he switched law firms," said Hwang.

An Eyagi Entertainment official statement said the company was "upset that false rumors and accusations have caused Park Shi Hoo to file a lawsuit."

And now they insist on an apology. Hopefully, Park and Hwang can resolve this situation peacefully and the unfortunate drama can finally end.

Park Si Hoo not planning to ‘reveal the truth’, ‘A’ will also remain silent

Even though Park Si Hoo had stated multiple times before that he’d ‘reveal the truth’ during the investigation, it seems like he won’t be doing that anytime soon.

Throughout his sexual assault case, Park Si Hoo had often commented that he had been wrongly accused and stated multiple times, “I will reveal the truth.” His acquaintances also previously said, “He’s been wrongly accused about many things. If there is something he did do wrong, he’d take responsibility, but on things he has been wrongly accused of, he feels the situation is unjust. Once the investigation is over, he’s planning to hold an official event to reveal everything.”

However, that has all changed, as his law firm Purme said, “We can’t release any statements about this case. The representative lawyers are all refraining from commenting about Park Si Hoo. Park Si Hoo will also not be having a press conference nor making any official statements.”

The public will never hear about ‘A‘s reason for dropping her charges either as her lawyers have also revealed that they will not be offering any comments, remaining firm on the silence with comments like,“It’s true that she has dropped her charges, but we cannot reveal the reason.”

With both pledging silence and dropping their lawsuits against each other, many speculate that there were settlements and negotiations that took place between the two sides. However, it seems the public will never find out, and are now left with the questions: Why did A drop her lawsuit?, Why did Park Si Hoo drop his lawsuit?, What took place between the two?, And of course, most importantly, what’s the truth?

It has been arduous three months of immense emotional turmoil not only for the actor but for the fans as well.

However, ever since the case first hit the headlines in February, his fans have firmly stood by him despite adverse reporting and tumultuous course of events.  Has all that been out of blinded fandom and sheer groupie frenzy?   I seriously doubt it.  His fans have been more reasonable and logical than any other person who has.

The Sihoorang Management staff would like to thank all of our overseas fans for not losing your faith in Sihoo and staying with him right till the end of the case.  We understand that it has not been an easy course for all of his fans and we applaud you all for your honesty, passion and your love for him.  It has proven itself now that he is more than just a celebrity on our lives:  He is truly like a family member who will share happiness and sorrow along with his fans from all over the world.

"A" drops lawsuit against Park Si Hoo and his hoobae

Although it seemed like a long battle in the courts was up ahead for ‘A’ and Park Si Hoo, it’s been revealed that things will actually wrap up as ‘A’ has dropped her suit against the actor, who has followed by dropping his own suit against her.

The reason for why ‘A’ has decided to drop her charges has not been revealed, but according to the prosecution, she has indeed retracted her lawsuit. “On May 9th, ‘A’s lawyers filed papers to drop their suit. For cases of sexual assault, if the suit is dropped, then prosecution no longer has the authority to indict,” said a rep from the prosecution.

The suit against Park Si Hoo’s hoobae, Mr. Kim, has also been dropped as well, so now all that’s left are the counter lawsuits between the actor and his former agency, and ‘A’s friend ‘B’. However according to Park Si Hoo’s reps, they seem to be working towards the direction of dropping those as well.

To recap, this case started a few months back when trainee ‘A’ filed a report against Park Si Hoo and his hoobae for sexual assault. The case then blew up with more names becoming implicated in the mess, like ‘A’s friend ‘B’, and ‘B’s CEO friend ‘C’, and Park Si Hoo’s former agency CEO. The police investigation wrapped up last month, and their findings were forwarded to the prosecution recommending that Park Si Hoo be charged with quasi-rape and battery. Park Si Hoo’s legal team lashed out at the police criticizing them, which eventually led to a civil group suing the actor and his team for leaking ‘A’s info and raising public’s mistrust of the police. However, it seems this case is now settled without the need for court with ‘A’ dropping her charges, and Park Si Hoo doing the same.
